Communion Worship on Sunday

Join us on Sunday at 10 a.m. for combined summer worship in the chapel. Rev. Dr. Brian R. Paulson is preaching. The service will also be available on our YouTube channel.

Your donations help the Deacons provide backpacks and school supplies to Mobile Food Pantry families, Waukegan to College, and Hope Technology and Education Center. Women's Summer Concert on Tuesday, August 6

Women’s Ministry invites you to enjoy an evening of live music with your church friends! This coming Tuesday, They're going to see “Mississippi Heat” at 7 p.m. at Independence Grove. Please call or text Ruth Schneider at 847-274-4249 no later than noon on Tuesday so we know who is attending. We can carpool from the church or you can meet us at the concert venue.

JHF & SHF Summer Cookout & Movie

All middle school and high school students are invited to a cookout in the courtyard on Friday, August 9 from 7-10 PM. Please bring a side dish or dessert. Friends are welcome, too! Learn more and RSVP here or email mhuber@boxp.net.

4th & 5th Grade Fellowship: The Family Bike & Scooter Ride has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 10 from 12:30-2:00 PM at Independence Grove. 

Sunday School Teachers Needed: We are seeking Sunday School teachers for all age groups this fall! No prior experience is required. We will have a teacher training on August 18. Blessing of the Backpacks on August 11

Students of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks or school bags to worship on Sunday, August 11 for a blessing of the backpacks. We’ll send them off into the new year with a backpack tag which reminds them how loved they are by God and this church.

PADS Food Collection

Drop off on Wednesdays between 4-6 PM in the Sanctuary Narthex. Please only bring items from the list below:

Breakfast: Bagels, cream cheese, instant oatmeal, store-bought muffins, granola or breakfast bars, meal replacement drinks

Lunch: Crackers, chips, ramen noodle cups or packages, protein bars, tuna or chicken salad packs, beef jerky, microwave popcorn, Jell-O cups, apple sauce pouches

Dinner: Non-perishable microwave dinners, canned baked beans, mac and cheese in boxes or cups, canned chili, microwave rice packs, sardines

Drinks: Apple or fruit juice packs, water bottles, hot chocolate packs, small containers of milk

Other: Can openers, plastic cutlery and plates, baby food
