Message from Student Transitions & Family Programs

Dear parents and families,


We hope you all have had a wonderful start to Parent & Family Orientation, and that your student is starting to feel settled here at WashU.


Tomorrow is the last day of Parent & Family Orientation. We have enjoyed having you all on campus and wish you safe travels home! As a reminder, please preview the Parent & Family Orientation schedule to know what events are going on tomorrow. 


Keep an eye out for more information about Parent & Family Weekend, which will be from October 27 - October 29, 2023. Parent & Family Weekend registration will go live on Wednesday, September 6. You will be able to register on our families website.

Bear Beginnings: Fall Welcome

Bear Beginnings: Fall Welcome will begin the evening of Move-In Day and conclude the evening of Saturday, August 26. During Fall Welcome, your student will meet with their WUSA small group, engage in academic experiences, and participate in a long-standing university tradition - Convocation.
