Kabbalah on the Key is Back!
New Location: Ocean Club Condominiums, Lake Tower Bldg.
CONNECTING TO YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL
Date: Thursday, September 15th
Time: 12 pm- 1:15pm

Kabbalah teaches that there is a structure to the universe, and that energetic entities called 'angels' are an integral part of this system. Angels, as understood from a kabbalistic perspective, facilitate the circulation of energy throughout the universe, and are powerful tools for transformation - being aware of their existence gives us the opportunity to resist chaos and create fulfillment in our lives.
Join us to explore the Zohar's teachings on where angels come from, how they affect us, and how we can affect them. Learn how we can use kabbalistic tools to connect to our own personal guardian angel and harness their energy to assist us in our spiritual process.

School back in session! For some parents, it is a relief to have their children in a supervised environment for a full day with a possible added extra-curricular activity afterwards. For others, it is the beginning of 10 months of stress trying to manage the school schedule, transportation and homework. Here are some tips to manage your stress this school year:
1) Give your child (and yourself) 15 minutes extra time in the morning. Sleeping in for 15 minutes more does not provide more rest but having 15 minutes extra can help you avoid the morning rush.
2) Have checklist to insure that you will not be making another trip to school that day to drop off notebook, lunch, PE uniform, and anything else that he/she may forget.
3) If in a carpool, text/call the other people in carpool to alert them that you are on your way, so they are ready when you arrive. You will also find out if they are not going to school that day and can avoid an unnecessary stop.
4) Know how your child best completes homework. Your homework style may not match your child's style. You may have done your homework the minute you walked in the door. Your child may need a snack, exercise, 30 minutes of "chill out" time before starting. To minimize stress of finishing (or even starting) homework, establish a homework system with your child.
5) Ever have a time when your child spent so much time complaining about homework, that he/she could have probably finished it in that time? There are a few ways to help children get their homework finished within a reasonable amount of time. First of all, walk away from the "I don't want to do my homework" tantrum. Second, give your child a reasonable break before starting homework with nutritious snack and physical activity. Third, set a timer and play "beat the clock." You can reward your child for finishing before the timer ends. This can help them learn efficient time management for their homework.
6) Instead of fighting with your children about doing their homework, let them go to school without completed homework! Their homework should not be your stress. They will learn to finish homework by getting a logical consequence from teacher. No child was ever denied college education, because he did not hand in 2nd grade math homework.
7) Have bedtime routine, so all of you are getting adequate rest to start all over again the next day.

Inner Universe
Raising the vibration of the planet
One inspiration at a time
Whenever you become overwhelmed by a sudden wave of fear, stop! Acknowledge and observe (not absorb) the situation but do need feed the fear monster. Remember that love and joy are your birthright, not fear.
After observing your situation take the other details of your life and break them up into bite-size pieces. In other words, begin to feel and express gratitude for the minutest aspects of your life including the elements of that which you were fearing. Allow a wave of appreciation to overwhelm you by remembering the myriad of aspects you are thankful for. The universe will then fill in all the remaining pieces of your puzzle and before you know it, your perspective will change in a way that is favorable to you, your health and overall outlook.
With a shift like this, changes begin to emerge and so do the consequences of your thoughts. You become a closer vibrational match to your desired outcome, too. Bite-size pieces of gratitude can render larger, powerful and more beneficial results.
Remember, they're brief yet insightful, and easy to share.
