" Wishful Intentions"
by artist Katie Truk
July - December 12, 2015

"Wishful Intentions," created by Hamilton, N.J. artist Katie Truk, is The Center's current site specific installation. The installation is made entirely of wire and pantyhose.

Truk stated, "All the pantyhose in this installation were donated by the CCA community. Over fifteen pounds were contributed, for the greater part, by women. Each pair contains the hopes of being their best. Collectively these woman stand enduringly as trees. Weathering the storms. Sheltering and nurturing life. Radiant in bloom, bearing of fruit, and shedding of time. It is they that support the hives of life."

NJTV recently aired a piece on Truk's pantyhose installation!

Don't miss out on her October 3rd pantyhose creations workshop!
Using the same materials as Truk, students will follow the step-by-step procedures to change ordinary pantyhose into something extraordinarily creative!
