Some months, coming up with a newsletter topic is unusually challenging. Being silly, I facetiously asked our four-year-old daughter what I should write about this month. "Pancakes," she responded, "Pancakes and maple syrup." Joanne and I laughed, and I walked out of the room, but I quickly returned and told them I was going to use her idea.
