USAV MEMBERSHIP

Tryouts are finished. Your club director needs you to have a full USAV membership. Once you accept a club position, you should upgrade to a full membership by clicking HERE or by using the link from your club to affiliate with them.

RESERVING HOTELS, if needed

A number of tournaments already have hotel options posted on line. Click Here and pick your date. Region negotiates discounted room blocks in many tournaments. Deadlines are normally 30 days prior to event.

GATE TICKETS

If your team is attending the Southern Classic in Rock Hill 2nd or 3rd weekend in January. Teams can pre-order their Gate Tickets and mailed prior to event. This is for TEAM orders only. Deadline is 12/20

High Performance (HP) Program

Think you've got what it takes to be a top player in the region? Sign up is coming soon! Players try out at one of the dates below. The top players are invited to participate in our HP Camp on June 10.

OFFICIATING CLINICS: 

Officiating certifications last for two seasons. If you didn't do yours last season, it's not too early to complete it once you have your full USAV membership.

How to Complete

• Officiating courses are available as soon as you complete your FULL USAV Palmetto Region membership registration. 
• Coaches can begin taking the training now and players can after they upgrade from their tryout membership to their full membership.
• Officiating certifications last for two seasons. 
• To confirm if you have current officiating certifications you can check under "Credentials" and then scan through "Training & Education."

How to access the USAV Academy

1. Log in to My SportsEngine with your USA Volleyball Membership linked account. 
2. Click Household, and click the desired profile. 
3. To the right, you'll see the USAV Memberships. Under them, click View Details.
4. In the top right-hand corner click the USAV Academy button to access the USA Volleyball Learning Center. (see pic below)

Once you are in Academy click on "Content Library".

Then click on the course that applies to you. (All players should take the Line Judge and Libero tracker courses. Minimum two players per team should take the Second Referee and Scorer courses. Adults should take the Coaches course, which covers all officiating positions.)

ZERO Tolerance Policy

The region wants all to know that there will be ZERO tolerance for any disrespect towards our officials and officiating teams. Violators of this policy will be removed from tournaments and/or banned. Please share with your members and take it seriously.
