I'm back. Thank you for your patience.I've had a busy couple of weeks. It's good to be back to my routine for a couple of weeks before I'm off to the Canaveral Seashore Paint out.

I have learned some things about who the people are that really like my work. When I do painting events about 90% of the people who really stop to look at my work and admire it, are related in some way directly to nature. I meet hunters, fishermen, state and national park rangers, biologists, farmers/ranchers/rural land owners. This is a very different group than the tourists who like colorful beach paintings and palm trees. It's important for an artist to get to know the people who like their work and to understand the common themes they share.
