I'm very excited that the Six Artists Six Prairies project will be included in the Conservation Trust for Florida Fall Round-UP on November 6th this year. I have been to the Round Ups in the past and they are really fun. We are to be the featured group so it is quite an honor to be invited.

Tip of the Day

Baking soda can work wonders at preventing odors in your trash cans. Baking soda can be sprinkled in the bottom of a trash can or directly into the trash to help absorb stinky odors. As an added bonus, baking soda is great for scrubbing out your trash can to remove odors that may have seeped into the trash can.

Today's Recipe

I made meatballs with spaghetti sauce last night, leaving out the pasta. They were actually good without the pasta.

1 pound ground beef

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 egg

salt and pepper

dash of dried oregano

dash dried thyme leaves

dash of garlic powder

1 onion diced small

Mix it all up and make meatballs. Place in a deep pan and bake them. Drain off any fat. I use ground round so it is very lean. Pour jar sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle with more cheese. Bake another 10 minutes.

Tasty with low carb and low sugar.
