There's a deer family who likes to visit my yard almost every day. I look forward to seeing them arrive almost by magic around dusk. They graze through the yard on their way to their evening soiree. I have seen as many as eight in the groups and most of the time three or four. They are fairly tame.
Henry is fascinated with them. Once he chased them all over the fields. I could hear them crashing through the woods and didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He came back completely out of breath and as happy and filthy as he could be. He was very happy and smug. |
