I'm very fond of this pond. I have painted it many times both in wet and dry seasons. It looks so different each way. I'm beginning to appreciate it more now that it is dry. it looks like a small prairie. As a dry pond, it has many subtle colors
and lots of different textures. I like to sit and observe the  many birds that come and go there. In the wet season I see a lot of Blue Herons and white birds. In the dry season, I see more hawks and crows. It is a beautiful place to observe nature and it changes constantly.

    My Sis's Chicken

4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

2 T seasoned flour

1 cup cheese shredded

4 slices of thin lean ham

Dredge chicken in flour and place on sheet pan sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and cover with ham, then shredded cheese. Bake until cheese is brown and bubbly on chicken.

This is her version of Chicken Cordon Blue

I think a bit of brown mustard smeared on the chicken to bake it would be a tasty addition.
