Page Playmakers Present:"The Music Man"
Page Playmakers is presenting their annual spring musical, "The Music Man." Performances are April 25, 26, and 27th at 7pm in the Page High Auditorium. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. There are over 80 students involved, including a full pit orchestra! As always, we have a group of dedicated parents helping with choreography, costumes, sound, lights, and set construction! With traditional 1912 costumes, this is a production you don't want to miss! This is sure to be another stellar Playmakers performance!

Page Alumni & Friends Scholarships:
This year we had 28 applications for the Page Alumni & Friends Scholarship Award, an award that is extended to those seniors who "embody what it means to be a Page Pirate." The number of recipients and the amount of the scholarship varies each year depending on the support our association has had with memberships. Seniors are asked to apply and write an essay on "What Page Has Meant to Me." The committee selecting the winners this year was led by Ashley Simpson Witcher ('85). Ashley commented that the process was very enjoyable, but that she only wished that each of the applicants could receive the award, and that all 28 were fantastic. Simpson added that the process was easier since each application was assigned a number so all identities were kept private. According to Ashley the entire process ran smoothly because of the experience and leadership provided by Barry Dooley, Senior Class Counselor. The eleven finalists will start an interview process tonight and the winners will be announced on Senior Day, May 23rd. Come meet this year's winners at our annual meeting March 31st.

Our Annual meeting will be held on May 31st @ 5:30pm in the Sherwood Clubhouse. Our last meeting had record attendance, so please join your fellow alumni and friends at our next meeting. We will be electing officers and adding additional members to our board, so if you have a voice wanting to be heard, we will be there ready to listen.
