PrideFest & Providence Pride Parade

Providence Pride Parade - June 17, 6:30pm

• Each year, PVDGFFL is one of the largest (and loudest) groups to walk in the Pride Parade. Come out and join us! If you'd like to walk in the parade, please register below and arrive at the Green Street staging area no later than 6:30pm.

Pride Bowl Send Off @ Alley Cat

We like to party! PVDGFFL would like to invite you to this year's Pride Bowl send off @ Alley Cat on Monday, June 19th at 7pm. Come cheer on our three travel teams as they prepare to represent PVD in this year's Chicago Pride Bowl (Lobsters Black & White Women's+, Lobsters Gold, and Lobsters Blue) as they prepare to represent PVD in this year's tournament.

As part of the send off, we will be providing food from Dirks BBQ, a raffle, and swag handouts. We will also be unveiling our new Jerseys for both players and supporters. See you there!

Health & Safety Updates

Weekly Wellness Update: Come meet with the Health and Safety Committee at the PVDGFFL booth during PRIDE FEST!!

Director of Health and Safety, Theresa Waterbury will be at the booth from 4pm-6pm to meet and talk with folks and to hand out FREE NARCAN and fentanyl testing kits!! 

There will also be a QR code to scan and request NARCAN/fentanyl testing kits before 4pm!

We are all so excited to have lots of fun with our family this weekend and want to ensure we are all safe while we are out together!

If you don’t need NARCAN for yourself, someone you know and love may need some!! 

It is always a good idea to carry a nasal spray in your fanny pack, purse, stick it in your boot, or in your fancy wig, especially during times/at events where drug use may occur. 

There will also be a sign up sheet available for folks who are interested in joining the Health and Safety Committee! Thank you all for helping to keep our family alive, safe, and healthy! Have fun and stay safe out there!
