Worship with Us this Sunday

June 5, 2022 | 10:00am In-person and Facebook Live… later YouTube (if possible)

It’s Pentecost – 50 days after Easter. The disciples/apostles and other faithful Jews from all over are celebrating Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks – 7 weeks since Passover) -- the festival of the first wheat harvest of the year.

It was at this time that the Holy Spirit that Jesus had been promising arrives. The Spirit blows into the city and astonishing things happen.

We will hear the story from Acts 2.

Please consider wearing RED – the color of the Holy Spirit.

We will gather at the communion table to receive the nurture, encouragement, wisdom and grace of Jesus. It is an ‘open table’ – ALL are invited.

It’s a Give-A-Meal Sunday so please consider bringing gifts of non-perishable food items and/or personal care items for our neighbors.

Windy humor for Pentecost

Two wind turbines were talking about their favorite kind of music and one said to the other: "I'm a big metal fan!"

What did the wind turbine say to the engineer after he fixed him? I'm a big fan of your work!

What do windmills talk about? Not much, they just shoot the breeze!

What words do windmills live by? One good turn deserves another!
