Last year the PTO introduced Party Boxes which were a great success. Each classroom receives a box with party materials - crafts, games, activities, etc. This creates an equitable party experience for all classrooms across the grade levels and lessens the workload for volunteering parents. Room parents and grade-level lead parents will coordinate the creation of three party boxes this year for Halloween, Winter, and the End of the Year parties.
To cover the expenses, the PTO requests a $10 classroom party fee from each child K - 5th grade. The PTO knows not all families are in a position to donate, however, we work with the funds donated to provide an equitable party experience for every student. If you are interested in donating an additional amount towards classroom party funds, the PTO thanks you in advance! Please see the payment options below, and submit your classroom party payment no later than Friday, September 13th.
Please note, that the payment options for the PTO have changed this year. In an effort, to help 113A become cashless in the buildings, the PTO will not be collecting payments via teachers or office staff. We are exploring all our payment options and evaluating what will work best for our families while being able to support our students and staff with the least impact.
