We are so grateful for the innovative and impactful work of Leslie Congleton. She was part of the Powerful Tools for Caregivers development team in 1997 and remained involved with PTC for 25 years, including being on staff with Iowa State University over the last year during the program’s transition. Her last day will be June 9. This summer she will be taking a step back to enjoy some travel and time with family. Thank you for everything, Leslie!
Many of you have gotten to know Susan DeBlieck as a new face for PTC at Iowa State University. Susan’s work has made for a smooth transition as she has laid a solid new foundation from which the program will continue to grow for years to come. Susan will be moving to Minnesota and taking on a new role; her last day is May 2. Thank you for your contributions, Susan!
We're glad to have Naomi Meinertz step in to fill Susan's shoes. She's a PTC class leader and gerontology doctoral candidate at Iowa State University. Naomi is passionate about family care relationships and developing, implementing, and evaluating programs aimed at improving family care experiences.
