Transportation Alternatives Program funding recommendation released for public comment

Twelve projects have been recommended for $17.5 million in PSRC funds. The projects all include a bicycle and pedestrian component whether it be on a trail, street or bridge. A complete list is available here.  The public comment period runs through January 25, 2018. Make a comment at psrc.org.

Additional special needs funding recommendation

Additional funding has become available for special needs transportation in the region. These are services that provide mobility for seniors, people with disabilities, and individuals living with low incomes. The Transportation Policy Board recommended the additional $178,712 in FTA Section 5310 funds go to six projects on the PSRC Special Needs Transportation Contingency List.

Regional Transportation Plan will be released for public comment on December 14

The Transportation Policy Board reviewed the overall content and structure of the draft Regional Transportation Plan and directed staff to prepare the documents for public release on December 14.
