Children's Environmental Health Pilot Projects

Eligibility Phase deadline: September 13, 2024

The NIEHS-funded Philadelphia Regional Center for Children’s Environmental Health (PRCCEH) is currently accepting applications for Year 4 pilot projects through its Development Core. Up to $25,000 for one year. These pilot projects can generate preliminary data and develop new intervention, prevention, and communication strategies to improve CEH.

2024 Sony Research Award Program

Submission deadline: September 15, 2024

The Sony Research Award Program provides funding for cutting-edge academic research and helps build collaborative relationships between faculty and Sony researchers. With awards up to $150,000 per year for each accepted proposal, this program aims to create new opportunities for university faculty and research institutions to engage in pioneering research that could drive new technologies, industries and the future.

2025 Pershing Square Sohn Cancer Prize

IAEA - Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme

Launched in 2020, the IAEA Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme (MSCFP) aims to inspire and encourage young women to pursue a career in a nuclear related field by providing highly motivated female students with scholarships for master’s programmes and an opportunity to pursue an internship facilitated by the IAEA. The selected students are awarded up to €20,000 for tuition costs and up to €20,000 for living costs for their master’s programme.

Stanley J. Dudrick Research Scholar Award

Mid-career investigators and ASPEN members who have an advanced degree (MD, PharmD, MS, PhD, or equivalent) and who have completed formal training in nutritional research/therapy within the past 10-15 years. Demonstration of exceptional research productivity and the potential to continue to contribute to the field of nutrition therapy.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Career Development Program is Now Open!

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society supports talented blood cancer researchers in the early phase of their careers through the Career Development Program. The CDP continues to provide a pool of dedicated researchers to advance the understanding and diagnosis of blood cancer, as well as the development of treatment and prevention options that will ultimately lead to a higher quality of life for blood cancer patients.

Warren Alpert Distinguished Scholars Fellowship Award

ARPA-H launches program to develop at-home multi-cancer screening test

As part of President Biden’s Unity Agenda and the Biden Cancer Moonshot goal to end cancer as we know it by driving innovation and expanding access to cancer screening, ARPA-H announces the Platform Optimizing SynBio for Early Intervention and Detection in Oncology (POSEIDON) program, which intends to develop first-in-class, at-home, synthetic Multi-Cancer-Early Detection (MCED) tests for the most sensitive and specific stage-1 detection of 30+ solid tumors using only breath and/or urine samples.

ARPA-H Announces New Funding Opportunity to Make AI-enabled Tools More Reliable
