AMP Robotics (Louisville, Colo.) has joined the PSI Chapter as a new member.
AMP is a technology provider that offers artificial intelligence (AI)-powered automation for sorting a variety of recyclable materials, including paper, plastics, metals, construction debris, electronics, and organics. Its AI platform, AMP Neuron, uses computer vision to recognize patterns of specific recyclable materials within a complex material stream. The company’s AMP Cortex high-speed robotic sorting system then sorts, picks, and places material to achieve up to 80 picks per minute at 99% accuracy.
