Free Eye Care and Free Eyeglasses for Kids
Give Kids Sight Day
is celebrating its 10th anniversary! It's time to mark your calendars and help spread the word
about free eye care and free eyeglasses on Saturday, October 5th!
Children 17 and under in and around the Philadelphia area are invited to this FREE annual event for FREE eye care and eyeglasses.
Sight Day is geared towards kids who did not have or did not pass an eye screening this year. Registration takes place from 8:30am to 1:00pm at Jefferson Alumni Hall, 1020 Locust Street and features eye screening, a health fair, free books, snacks and more! No health insurance? No problem!
All children are welcome. Walk-ins only, no appointment is needed!
We do suggest families arrive early.

Do you have a deaf or hard of hearing child in your family? Do you participate in the child’s meetings at school? Then this new Parent Advocacy App is for you! The Parent Advocacy app helps you to understand your child’s rights and to prepare you to work with the school in the best interest of your child.
The Parent Advocacy app is a collaboration between: the NAD, Gallaudet University Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center, American Society for Deaf Children, and Hands and Voices.

Did you ever want to learn to pray in American Sign Language (ASL)? The Religious Signs For Families app makes learning fun and easy! You and your child learn by watching children and parents sign religious words and prayers. All the ASL parent models are Deaf parents, and all the child models are Deaf children or Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs). Their expert signing is simple to follow and enjoyable to watch.

Summer Movie Camp

Registered Kids Receive 2 FREE GAMES Of Bowling Each Day All Summer!
Select bowling centers and schools around the country are participating in the first ever
Kids Bowl Free
program. This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer. Children whose age does not exceed a limit by a participating bowling center are eligible to register for 2 free games each day of the KBF program, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations.
