Multiple lanes will be closed in both directions on Whitemud Drive at the Quesnell Bridge as crews complete scheduled maintenance overnight over the next week.
Maintenance work begins on Saturday, August 10 at 9 p.m., resulting in two of the four lanes in each direction closing for five consecutive nights between 9 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. This work is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, August 15 by 6:30 a.m. All lanes will remain open outside these hours.
Roadside signage will notify drivers of the upcoming lane closures and drivers are asked to use caution when navigating the area. Access to the on ramp at 149 Street and off ramp at Fox Drive will not be affected. Detour signage will also be posted for the overnight closure of the Fox Drive Westbound to Whitemud Drive Westbound on ramp, which will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. beginning on August 12 and ending at 6:30 a.m. on August 14.
The City thanks residents for their patience and understanding as crews work to enhance the condition of the bridge.
