Fort Road, between 66 Street and Yellowhead Trail, is now open to full capacity. This marks a major step forward in the Yellowhead Trail Freeway Conversion.
The new widened road features three lanes for both northbound and southbound traffic, and improved access to businesses via the new 125 Avenue collector road. The 125 Avenue collector links Yellowhead Trail, Industrial Heights and local commercial businesses west of Fort Road and along 82 Street.
This development will boost commercial growth, with new projects already underway. The City of Edmonton thanks drivers, residents and business owners for their patience and cooperation throughout construction.
