PRISMA and the NYO Canada share the same goal: to provide excellence to music students through first-class teaching and experience. The NYOC recommends that students who are unsuccessful in their application to the NYOC apply to PRISMA. PRISMA supports this initiative by waiving the application fee for these students and allowing them to use the same audition recording as they used for the NYOC. Many PRISMA students are subsequently accepted to the NYOC.

Michael Francis has wowed audiences throughout the world with his expressive style and dynamic performances; he brings this energy and experience to NYO Canada's musicians, igniting enthusiasm and passion in every note.

Comprised of 90+ students aged 16-28, NYO Canada brings these musicians together for a 5-week training institute, culminating in the 2015 TD National Tour.

NYO Canada provides an unforgettable evening of evocative and expertly played music that captivates audiences from the start. A Canadian Classic since 1960, come and experience tomorrow's brightest musicians in July and August!
