PRIME AE Group, Inc. (PRIME) is pleased to announce that Mr. David J. Azzato, P.E., has joined PRIME as a Highway Department Manager/ Senior Project Manager and will be located in our Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office.

 

Prior to joining PRIME, David was employed for over 36 years with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) in various capacities in both the design and construction fields. Most recently, as the Chief of Highway Design and Technology, his responsibilities included managing various highway related units, providing technical assistance to 11 Engineering Districts across Pennsylvania, and coordinating as necessary on project delivery issues with the Federal Highway Administration.

 

While working at PennDOT, David received several prestigious awards including the Governor's Award for Excellence and the Secretary of Transportation's Award for Excellence. David also completed the PennDOT Leadership Academy, the Northeast Association of State Transportation Officials Leadership Seminar, and the Pennsylvania State University Executive Management Program for Highway Engineers.

 

David is currently a Professional Engineer licensed in Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
