First College Intern Joins Coggeshall Farm Museum for the Summer

BRISTOL, RI– BayCoast Bank, a long-time community savings bank serving the South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is proud to support Coggeshall Farm Museum’s first summer internship program. This year, the Farm had the pleasure of bringing on Molly Rogan as its first summer intern. Rogan is a history major and museum/archives studies minor at Mount Holyoke College. Rogan has since become an invaluable member of the Coggeshall Farm team, helping with educational programs, researching archived materials and welcoming visitors on open farm days. With a grant from BayCoast Bank, the Farm is able to provide a stipend for college students, allowing them the ability to participate in this valuable internship opportunity.

The Coggeshall Farm Museum’s summer internship provides assistance to the Farm during its busiest season, as well as on-site training and hands-on experience for upcoming professionals in the field of museum interpretation. We are grateful to BayCoast Bank for their support of this program, as well as the generosity they have shown here in our community.

Coggeshall Farm Museum is celebrating its 50th year as a living history museum in RI. To learn more about the various way to support Coggeshall Farm Museum and living history in Southern New England visit: https://coggeshallfarm.org/support/.
