BRISTOL, RI– Don’t let the summer end without enjoying a fun afternoon at the farm. Meet and greet our heritage breed sheep, chickens, and pigs. Plus, we recently welcomed back two heritage-breed cows. Tour the Lake Kitchen Garden to see what’s ready for harvest. Come learn about life on a 1790s salt marsh farm, play old-fashioned games, and more. No two visits are alike!

Drill Day

Saturday, August 19

Open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Step back in time to see what life was like for Revolutionary War soldiers and militiamen in Rhode Island! Camp life and drills were an important part of the day-to-day routine for all soldiers of the Revolution. More time was spent on camp duties and drilling than was spent on the battlefield. Soldiers and militiamen alike would regularly drill and learn the proper handling of arms. Drills would start at the company level, and then the different companies would come together to drill as an entire regiment! Join the men and women of Rhode Island’s own Tew’s Company and be swept up in the sights and sounds of the American Revolution! Endless Summer

Campfire Sing

Saturday, August 26

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the concert runs 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Extend the fun on Saturday, August 26 with our Campfire Sing with Atwater Donnelly. Atwater Donnelly will sing new songs and old songs, funny songs and sweet songs. Perfect for all ages, bring your friends and family and an evening picnic. Our Campfire Sing is NOT included with standard daytime admission. Pre-registration is highly recommended. Coggeshall Farm Museum is celebrating its 50th year as a living history museum in RI. For the 2023 season the museum is open on Fridays for self-guided exploration in addition to Saturday and Sundays from 10 am–4 pm for tours and special events. Standard daytime admission is $10 for adults, $5 for youth (ages 4-17) or with Coggeshall Farm Museum membership or Old Sturbridge Village membership. More details at www.coggeshallfarm.org.
