WASHINGTON HEIGHTS REMEMBERS ST. ELIZABETH WHO DEDICATED HER LIFE TO HELPING THE POOR

Join NYC  Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, NYS Assemblywoman Carmen De La Rosa, and the parish; in collaboration with Congressman Adriano Espaillat and State Senator Marisol Alcantara to unveil "St. Elizabeth Way" in honor of the great St. Elizabeth Church, a staple of the Washington Heights Community. The church, named after St. Elizabeth who dedicated her life to helping the poor, has one of the largest congregations of residents in the neighborhood and has provided programming and support for residents for over 80 years. The Co-naming will be held on Sunday, May 28th 2017 at 1:00pm on the corner of 187th Street and Wadsworth Avenue.

Acompanen al Concejal Ydanis Rodríguez, la Asambleista Carmen De La Rosa, y la parroquia de la Iglesia de Santa Elizabeth; con la colaboracion de Congresista Adriano Espaillat y la Senadora Marisol Alcantara para desvelar el " Camino de Santa Elizabeth" en honor de la gran iglesia de Santa Elizabeth, un pilar de la Comunidad de Washington Heights. La iglesia, que lleva el nombre de Santa Elizabeth, que dedicó su vida a ayudar a los pobres, tiene una de las congregaciones más grandes de vecinos y ha proporcionado programación y apoyo a los residentes por más de 80 años. El nombramiento se llevará a cabo el domingo 28 de mayo de 2017 a la 1:00 pm en la esquina de 187th Street y Wadsworth Avenue.
