LACERA Election Details Emailed to Safety Members
August 5: LACERA Safety Members received an important email yesterday regarding LACERA elections. This was sent to department email addresses and includes instructions for voting electronically or by phone for the LACERA election. Please note that ballots will not be mailed to your home.

The PPOA Board of Directors has once again unanimously voted to endorse Captain Shawn Kehoe. He has also received the endorsement of ALADS. The 24-year LASD veteran has been a staunch advocate for Safety members in protecting our pensions, fighting for retirement benefits, and safeguarding our retirement system in the midst of pension reform laws that have negatively impacted other retirement systems throughout California.

PROTECT YOUR PENSIONS! PPOA urges all Safety members to vote to re-elect Captain Kehoe to both the LACERA Board of Retirement and the Board of Investments.
