Nearly 1,000 En Route to LASD Retiree Roundup
PPOA representatives look forward to joining nearly 1,000 friends at the LASD Retiree Roundup that kicks off tomorrow and runs through Wednesday. The annual event in Laughlin is the largest single-agency retiree reunion that we know of and draws former LASD personnel from around the nation.

A highlight for PPOA every year is hosting Cigar Night on the patio overlooking the Colorado River as the sun sets and friends toast to each other during the final night of the Roundup. This year, PPOA will proudly host Cigar Night on Tuesday, April 9th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. If you're in town that evening, please join us!
Fraternal Order of Police News Update

Important news regarding FOP membership for retired PPOA members: When a sworn PPOA member retires and wishes to reactivate his/her FOP member benefits, the following step must be taken: To reactivate your membership as a retired peace officer, you will need to pay FOP annual dues of $40 for 2024. To do so, please send an email to the FOP Lodge 1 Secretary at
