NORFOLK -- A portion of Curlew Drive will close to through traffic for several hours during the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 8, while construction crews move a large piece of equipment.
Beginning as early as 7 p.m., Curlew Drive will be closed from the I-64 overpass to Kidd Boulevard.
Motorists should utilize Military Highway, I-264 and Newtown Road to get around the closure, which should be lifted by the early hours of Wednesday morning.
This is part of ongoing work on Curlew Drive that includes installation of curb, gutter and sidewalk, as well as paving.
