LMA Lab for Journalism Funding applications accepted through April 22

All PNA member news organizations in Pennsylvania are invited to apply to join this first statewide cohort of the fundraising lab to learn how to develop reporting projects that can be funded through philanthropy. Up to 12 local media companies will be invited to participate.

PNA hosts Student Keystone Media Awards

Students, teachers, parents and members of the PNA Foundation gathered at the WITF headquarters for a luncheon and awards ceremony last week.

Students from 58 Pennsylvania colleges, universities and high schools submitted 860 entries - our highest participation since 2019!

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette journalists tapped for national, local media awards

A package of stories by reporters Anya Sostek, Megan Guza and Jonathan D. Salant was honored with the Wilbur Award in the category of hard news in newspapers. Guza has also been named a finalist for the American Bar Association’s 2024 Silver Gavel Awards for Media and the Arts.

Get to know Trystan Osifat, media buyer at MANSI Media

Trystan graduated from Shippensburg University with a B.S. degree in business administration for marketing. He joined the MANSI Media team in May 2022 and quickly established himself as a proficient print and digital specialist.

In his free time, you can find Trystan in the great outdoors ‒ hiking, biking, fishing or camping with childhood friends. When feeling creative, he likes to write lyrics to the beats he creates on Mac’s Logic Pro app.
