Moving Legislation - SB 525

SB 525 (Senator Dush) amends the Right-to-Know law by providing a process to alleviate authorities and local governments from burdensome vexatious requests that hinder the Right-to-Know request system. On Tuesday, the bill was voted from the Senate State Government Committee and referred to the full Senate.

$8M Awarded to Consumptive Use Mitigation Projects

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) announced funding of more than $8 million to 27 projects which will improve water availability and quality during critical low flow periods. PMAA member grant awardees include:

• Montgomery Water Authority
• Lycoming County Water and Sewer Authority
• Borough of Freeland Municipal Authority
• Kline Township Municipal Authority
• Northern Cambria Municipal Authority

The PFAS National Primary Drinking Water Regulation was published in the Federal Register on April 26, 2024 and available here (pdf version is available on upper righthand side of the site).

EPA Mid-Atlantic Region Virtual Summit
