You are invited to attend "Increasing Access to LARC for Your Adolescent and Adult Patients Through Evidence-Based Counseling and Practices," a free Zoom lecture presented by Rachael Phelps, MD, family planning expert and physician, Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York, on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 5:30 to 6:45 pm.
This free 75-minute lecture and Q&A will include up-to-date information on evidence-based, patient-centered reproductive health counseling, available resources, and strategies for removing barriers to contraception access with a focus on long-acting reversible contraception (LARC).
This no-cost training is relevant for healthcare providers caring for both adolescent and adult patients, and attendance will satisfy the LARC initiative component of the 2023 AHP PCP Reward Plan for providers with LARC in their Reward Plan. Whether or not the LARC component has been satisfied for 2023 is available for viewing at the provider level in the Provider Engagement Report (PER).
Please note that this session's content is identical to the material presented at the November 17th and December 7th trainings in 2022.
