Smart Start of Mecklenburg County announces funding opportunities for FY 2023-24.

The annual Bidders' Conference will provide detailed information about the Request for Applications (RFA) process and is designed to give interested applicants a chance to ask questions. This will also give applicants a better understanding of whether their organization is interested in applying and whether their company is qualified to complete the work.

Smart Start of Mecklenburg County funds programs that benefit children ages 0-5 and their families to ensure that every child turns five ready to thrive. Funding opportunities are offered in the areas of health, family support, early care and education, and literacy.

Completed applications are due in the Smart Start office on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, by 5:00 pm (late or incomplete applications will not be accepted).
