PJC Nominating Committee

Each year, a few congregants huddle to assemble a slate of nominees to serve as our Board of Directors. The process is incredibly important because it ensures we have dedicated congregants in place who are committed to maintaining the PJC’s vitality. Over the next few weeks, the PJC Nominating Committee will be identifying candidates for the Board.

If asked, please consider the opportunity seriously; if interested, we'd love to hear from you!

Please reach out to Adam Gerber or Barry Goldenberg if you have any questions.

For more details, please see this message from the Nominating Commitee.

First Friday Shabbat

Our next First Friday Dinner will be on Friday, April 5. Candle lighting and food for children will be available beginning at 5:30 pm. Shabbat services begin at 6:00 pm and dinner will be served immediately following services at approximately 7:00pm.

Please contact Emily Pauley with any questions or concerns and if you are interested in sponsoring the First Friday dinner.

Please RSVP by Monday, April 1 to receive the reduced price:

Adult: $15 ($18 after 4/1)

Child (Ages 3 to 12): $7 ($9 after 4/1)

If this cost is a hardship, please reach out to Mitchell Cepler. No one should feel they can't attend due to cost.

The next book will be Wolf Hunt by Ayelet Gundar-Goshen. It is available at the PJC Library, Pelham Library, as an eBook and on Amazon. Due to upcoming holidays, the next meeting will be held on Monday, May 20 at 8:00 pm on Zoom.

Award-winning author Ayelet Gundar-Goshen returns with a timely and suspenseful exploration of the fault lines in a community, a school, and a family, as a mother begins to  suspect her teenage son of committing a terrible crime.

The PJC Gala

The PJC Gala will be held on Sunday, June 2nd. Save the date for an evening of fun, food, and honoring our friend Roger Krulak.
