Community Research Projects Triple Win!


The Partnership celebrates three of our Community Research Grants projects, which have been honored with prestigious international and national Smart Cities awards! Warner Robins and Woodstock were both recognized with this year’s esteemed Smart21 Community award. On the same day, Columbus's Digital Twin River Safety project was named a Smart 20 award winner by Smart Cities Connect.

South Metro Development Conference


The Partnership, along with leaders from AT&T, Georgia Power and Clayton State University for a forward-looking discussion at the South Metro Development Conference, exploring how cutting-edge technologies like electric vehicles and AI can power economic growth. The conversation delved into how these advancements can bridge the digital divide, ensuring everyone has access to the opportunities the tech revolution brings.

Special thanks to Monique Nunnally for hosting the Partnership and Nashlie Sephus for a powerful discussion at the New School's Women in Tech event. The conversation focused on tackling complex community challenges – often referred to as "wicked problems" – and fostering a more inclusive tech landscape.

In April, the Georgia FLEX Program, our Economic Opportunity grant winner, is holding its biggest competition yet! At the FLEX state finals, Georgia high school entrepreneur finalists will compete for up to 10,000 dollars to scale their businesses further.
