Chapter 630 has two Habitat Work Days scheduled for State Game Lands 44 north of Brockport. Meet at the entrance to SGL 44 Shawmut Tract off Shawmut Road at 8 AM.

April 8th Work Day

We will be planting seedlings from Howard Nursery on the Drummond Tract of SGL 44. Come prepared for the weather that day and have boots and work gloves.

April 22nd Work Day

On April 22nd we will be planting apple trees on SGL 44. Come prepared for the weather that day and have boots and work gloves.

Every youth participating in our work days will receive a chance to win a free shotgun at our Youth Safety Day in September. One chance for every work day attended.

Milkweed in the Classroom

Chapter 630 has sponsored 2 Milkweed in the Classroom projects at local area high schools.

Pre-Register for Mentored Youth Pheasant Hunts

Chapter 630 will host FREE Mentored Youth Pheasant Hunts at 2 locations across 2 Saturdays in October. You can pre-register a youth between the ages of 12 and 16 below. Two hunts will be offered at State Game Lands 44 north of Brockport, PA and one will be offered at State Game Lands 330 near Sligo, PA. All youth registered must attend one of two safety days. Pre-register with an email address and when registration opens we will send you an email with registration instructions. This hunt is absolutely FREE.
