We know, April showers bring May flowers, but fear not! We, your trusty marketing and design squad, are bursting with enough creative magic to chase away those rainy day blues and get your project juices flowing faster than a mimosa fountain at brunch. So, dive headfirst into our world of inspired awesomeness!

HIGHER EDUCATION

Nearly one year ago we began our first assignment with the College of Lake County Foundation, the organization responsible for leveraging the generous donations of individuals, businesses, and community organizations to help deliver high-quality, accessible learning opportunities across Lake County.

We recently completed the design and production of the Foundation’s 2023 Annual Report. This 16-page report highlights not only some of the student successes attributable to the awards made toward their educational goals, but it also features some of the individuals and local businesses that made commitments in support of the Foundation’s mission.

MUNICIPAL

We are very excited to welcome The Grants Clearinghouse (TGC) to the PDDG Family. TGC is a comprehensive grant development and project management consultancy that helps organizations across the country maximize their impact in serving communities and residents.

Over the coming year, our marketing and creative teams will be working closely with TGC’s leadership team in supporting various training and educational products and solutions. We will also be assisting TGC in building out and refining their existing brand platform.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

This year marks six years since our first project with the City of Suffolk, Virginia. Over the past 6+ years, we have supported the city’s marketing and outreach for economic development, tourism, public safety, utilities, and general media and communications.

Recently, we completed the design and production of the YesSuffolk 2023 Economic Activity Report, which was unveiled at the Suffolk Mayor’s State of the City address earlier this month.

This informative publication highlights the past fiscal years’ accomplishments from an economic development perspective. The report features business location and expansion successes and spotlights many of the significant developments across the city. This year’s report also featured a special four-page section on Downtown Suffolk and how the district has become a true destination for tourism, events, dining, and so much more.

NOTEWORTHY

CWA 2024 WORKCON Conference

Keeping with the workforce development conference theme, PDDG will also be attending and exhibiting at the 2024 WORKCON Conference, sponsored by the California Workforce Association (CWA), and held in San Diego from May 29-31. If you will be attending this year, please stop by our booth and say hello. Plenty of the world-famous PDDG light-up pens will be available!

IEDC 2024 Economic Future Forum

PDDG is excited to continue our support of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) by attending and exhibiting at the Economic Future Forum in Spokane, Washington from June 16-18. You can find members of our team in the exhibit hall. Drop us a line to let us know if you’ll be attending. We will also be attending the IEDC 2024 Annual Conference in Denver from September 15-18.
