Brace yourselves for some news so earth-shattering it might trigger flashbacks to dial-up internet and frosted tips: it’s our 47^th birthday!

Yes, you read that right. We're officially closer to AARP eligibility than the "Macarena" dominating the charts. But fear not, our design sensibilities are anything but dusty relics. Think of us more like a vintage Ferrari – classic lines, timeless elegance, and the occasional oil leak (kidding, mostly).

So, buckle up, pop the bubbly (or prune juice, no judgment), and raise a glass and join us as we celebrate nearly half a century of turning concepts into visual masterpieces by pushing boundaries, defying trends, and proving that good design, like a fine wine, only gets better with age (even if some of us need bifocals to appreciate it now). Cheers!

UTILITIES

Over the past 25+ years, we have worked on various statewide energy efficiency and rebate/incentive programs overseen by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). We recently expanded by our partnership with the CPUC by welcoming the Public Advocates Office (PAO) to the PDDG Team.

The PAO is an independent organization within the CPUC that advocates solely on behalf of utility ratepayers to obtain the lowest possible rate for service consistent with reliable and safe service levels.

Beginning this year, and for the next few years, we will be designing the PAO’s annual report. Earlier this year, we completed the design and production of the PAO 2023 Annual Report. The client entrusted our design team with the development of this 36-page report, complete with modern icons and infographics, unique illustrations, custom charts and tables, and full photo selection and management.

LEGAL

We recently welcomed Dannis Woliver Kelley (DWK), Attorneys at Law, to the PDDG Family. Established in 1976, DWK was the first law firm in California to devote its practice exclusively to public schools and education.

Our web development team was recruited to design and fully deploy a new and reimagined WordPress-based website presence for DWK. Working within a quick turnaround time, and in close alignment with DWK’s internal marketing team, we built out a robust, modernized website that better represents DWK’s respected and trusted presence in California.

The development process included creation of a new media center, online marketplace, events calendar, and professional attorney profiles, among other design deliverables.

PUBLIC WORKS

PDDG has collaborated with various Sonoma County departments on a variety of marketing and outreach projects for more than 14 years. In late 2021, we welcomed Sonoma Water (Sonoma County Water Agency) to the team. Over the past few years, we have developed multiple publications in both English and Spanish and most recently produced the agency’s 2023 Annual Report.

Our creative team was tasked with creating a unique, water-focused design solution that was both vibrant and engaging, while also providing a clean and easy-to-read format.

February 1, 2024 marks 47 years in business for PDDG! It’s hard to believe how much our agency has evolved and grown over nearly five decades in the marketing and communications space. PDDG Welcomes SFBCDC to the Family

We are thrilled to welcome the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (SFBCDC) to the PDDG Family. SFBCDC protects and enhances San Francisco Bay and advances the Bay’s responsible, productive, and equitable uses for this and future generations as we face a changing climate and rising sea levels.

Over the next few months, we will be working closely with the SFBCDC team to refine and refresh the existing website design, content, and messaging strategy.
