PDDG Design Notes – April 2024

April showers bring May flowers…isn’t that what they always say? Well, we're not letting those downpours drown our marketing mojo. Instead, they're turning us into singing Gene Kellys, ready to tap dance through a flood of brilliant marketing ideas that will make your brand blossom.

We're practically bursting with excitement to share our latest projects (think sunshine after the rain!), so ditch the raincoat and grab your metaphorical gardening gloves – it's time to cultivate some fresh marketing magic!

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

The City of Kingman, a client partner of PDDG since 2021, enlisted our creative team to design and produce the 2023 Economic Development Annual Report, a comprehensive recap of the past years’ accomplishments across all business relocation and expansion efforts.

This is the fourth year we have produced this particular report, and it serves a key outreach tool for Kingman’s economic development team. Our creative team worked closely with city staff to develop the content, source imagery, and produce the full report.

HEALTHCARE

Capital Workforce Partners (CWP), the premier workforce development agency serving the Greater Hartford Region, has been part of the PDDG Family since early 2019. Over the past five years, we have produced a wide range of deliverables for CWP, including websites, logos, digital and print ads, social media campaigns, and outreach collateral, to name a few.

One of our most recent engagements includes the development of a brand platform for the Capital Area Healthcare Partnership (CAHP), a collaborative effort of 26 healthcare organizations and 24 strategic partners, all working together to increase the stability of the healthcare industry as a critical economic driver in Connecticut’s Capital Region. CWP serves as the steward of the CAHP.

Next up will be the development and deployment of a robust website presence for CAHP.

PARKS & RECREATION

For the past six years, the Town of Queen Creek, Arizona has been a valued PDDG client partner. Our creative team has produced more than 60 projects for economic development, tourism, fire and medical, police, parks and recreation, and town-wide outreach and communications.

We recently completed the design and launch of the Town’s first-of-its-kind community-focused publication. Aptly titled the QC Current, this new publication is a go-to quarterly digital brochure that includes upcoming special events, recreation classes, public safety information, and helpful tips on water conservation, recycling, and so much more!

NOTEWORTHY

NAWDP 40th Annual Conference

PDDG is excited to continue our support of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals by attending and exhibiting at the 40th Annual Conference in San Antonio from May 20-22. You can find members of our team in the exhibit hall. Drop us a line to let us know if you’ll be attending.

We will also be supporting the NAWDP 2024 Youth Symposium in Phoenix from November 18-20.

CWA 2024 WORKCON Conference

Keeping with the workforce development conference theme, PDDG will also be attending and exhibiting at the 2024 WORKCON Conference, sponsored by the California Workforce Association (CWA), and held in Palm Springs from May 29-31. If you will be attending this year, please stop by our booth and say hello.
