SHOW ME YOUR GLORY

Divine purpose and calling are a strong focus for our family of churches and ministries at this time. Without called people—volunteer or credentialed—the mission we have been given as God’s people will not be accomplished. We are “The Called Ones” who only demonstrate the Lord’s greatness, love, and grace when we align with His purposes.
How we respond as a church or ministry—individual or family—when confronted by a major setback inevitably will determine if we fulfill our divine purpose and calling. The question is not, “Will the setbacks come?” but “Will we obediently persevere to see God’s kingdom come and will be done in us and our context?”
In Exodus 33:17–18, we read Moses’s passionate cry in response to the Lord’s affirmation of him. “And the Lord said to Moses, ‘I will do the very thing you have asked because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.’ Then Moses said, ‘Now show me your glory.’”

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
THURSDAY MAY 2, 2024 LIVE BROADCAST:
8 P.M. EDT // 7 P.M. CDT // 5 P.M. PDT

HOW TO PRAY
God longs for His people to humble themselves and to seek forgiveness and pray for guidance. God's Word says, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord" (Psalm 33:12). The Bible commands that we repent of our sins and turn to Almighty God. And because we are confident that we serve a God of mercy and compassion, we know that He stands ready to respond to our cries out of the abundance of His divine wisdom.
It is a crucial time for us to individually and collectively seek God's divine intervention for the challenges facing us. We need to pray for our leaders and for all those who govern us, that they will turn to God with humble hearts and follow Him. Our military leaders need our prayers as we have dedicated men and women serving on battlefields and sacrificing their blood to protect our nation and many innocent people around the world. God is faithful to bless those who turn to Him.
As we call on God, let us do so by genuine faith, believing that He hears our prayers. God can heal this great land, for which our forefathers fought and died. We need spiritual renewal, we need a revival in America, and we need each and everyone to pray. Lord, Hear Our Cry!

Through engaging stories and dynamic teaching, evangelist and prayer leader Joe Oden reveals that passionate prayers and humble hearts from believers willing to partner with the Holy Spirit are what usher in a great revival. You will learn how to:
- Develop a lifestyle of consistent, powerful prayer
- Implement biblical and historical principles of revival
- Cultivate personal habits that birth spiritual awakening
- Release God's power to shift the atmosphere and shake the nations
Today is your day to kneel humbly, rise bravely, and move boldly to see sweeping cultural revolution, signs and wonders, deliverance, and the salvation of millions of souls that cause even skeptics to be in awe of God.

WHY EVERY DAY THIS WEEK IS HOLY
by ChristianityToday.com
| |
As a child, my twin and I would often stage elaborate bake-offs during the school holidays. One year, I made an Easter cake with three chocolate crosses and a crown of thorns. I drowned these elements in large pools of jammy blood.
Sure, it was gratuitously gruesome—and I’m not surprised my sister’s saccharine fluffy chick cupcakes were the favored choice. But from an early age, I have shirked the propensity to avoid the grittiness of Easter. To me, its bloodiness is the very reason the Cross brings so much hope.
Many Christians around the world will celebrate Palm Sunday this weekend to commemorate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Some 2,000 years ago, crowds of Jews laid out palm branches on public streets to welcome their “Messiah”—the conquering king who they believed would overthrow the Roman government and liberate them from its hostile occupation.
