Each week we'll be shining the spotlight on one of our adoptable dogs. This week it's Pippin's turn!

Hi, I'm Pippin! People also call me Pip, Pippi-poo and Baby-girl.

When I'm with my human family I LOVE to snuggle. I get so excited when my mom comes home, but I have good manners and do not jump. I love to relax and lay under the covers right up against my mom. I follow my mom around when she does yard work and I will relax on my dog bed upon command. Sometimes I get a case of the crazies and I run in circles, flailing around, with my butt to the ground. When my family laughs at me, I get more excited and run around even more.

My favorite game with my canine friends is chase. I love to play with other dogs, but I would prefer to be an only dog. Although I love to play, I don't like it when I'm snuggling with mom and my foster brother approaches for attention. Also, I resource guard my food against other dogs.

My foster family knows me pretty well and they think the perfect family for me would be one that loves to baby their dogs. I am very sensitive and love human attention. I would be the perfect dog for an only dog household - I walk well on leash, I'm potty-trained, I love to snuggle, I listen, and I will even go into a crate, although I don't like it. I'm too old for that!

I almost forgot to tell you that I am a diva! I have high-standards and dignity. I am so cute and sweet that you'll fall in love with me instantly.

Do you think Pippin is a match for you, or someone you know? Visit this page and click on her photo for more information and a link to their adoption application.

Congratulations to the families who have added a new, loving, forever friend to their home! Here's one of our dogs who was recently adopted:

*** PBRSD is looking for a foster who has rabbit-care experience. The current foster will donate their cage and supplies and PBRSD is willing to continue with this coverage as needed*** Ruby and Ruthie are 2 year old female rabbits. They are bonded so they will need to be moved to a foster home together. Ruthie loves to be petted while Ruby prefers to hop away. We're looking for a foster home that would allow them to be indoor bunnies. Read more about Ruby and Ruthie here.

Please e-mail fostering@pbrsd.org if you can foster Ruby & Ruthie.
