Each week we'll be shining the spotlight
on one of our adoptable dogs.
This week it's Eeyore's turn!
My sister and I came to PBRSD as tiny puppies with mange. But you'd never know it now - just look at how handsome I am! She's been adopted and I would love a forever home of my own.
When I'm with my human family I am super cuddly on my own. I love to snuggle on the couch and in the bed with my humans. I'm content sleeping in my crate while my humans are at work and at night.
My favorite game with my canine friends is chasing my foster's pittie when she is chasing her laser pointer. I like to prance in front of her and try to get in her way. I like to play chase with her and try to steal her ball, stick, or toy. I can get a little carried away at times, but a quick reminder of my behavior usually corrects it.
I live with kids that are between 8 and 13. I've met kids as young as 3 and the only thing i dont like is quick startling movements. I'm very gentle with kids and like to snuggle with them. I live with an elderly cat, but we have to be kept separate. My energy level is too high for the cat and I stress him out.
My foster family knows me pretty well and they think the perfect family for me would be one that I would be the only dog in, or one that has the time to do a proper introduction. I am very mellow and calm when I am by myself, but have moderate energy when I am with another dog. I like daily walks and tons of cuddling. At times I forget that I don't fit in your lap :)

Ruby & Ruthie
*** PBRSD is looking for a foster who has rabbit-care experience. The current foster will donate their cage and supplies and PBRSD is willing to continue with this coverage as needed*** Ruby and Ruthie are 1.5 year old female rabbits. They are bonded so they will need to be moved to a foster home together. Ruthie loves to be petted while Ruby prefers to hop away. We're looking for a foster home that would allow them to be indoor bunnies. Read more about Ruby and Ruthie here.
