Mutt Masters K9 Academy and Bob "Mutt Master" Warren would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our first interactive monthly newsletter, that will feature training information, health & wellness information, and even a K9 Bulletin board to post what's happening in your Dog's World.

We need your help to make this a great newsletter by sending your favorite photos of your dog, or a good story about how you met. Send us your questions about anything dog and we will post it for everyone to see. You know you're not the only one having that problem. Humans don't get dogs, but Bob does!

First we want your feedback on a good name for our newsletter. We have some suggestions we'd like you to vote on or send us your suggestion. (Vote below) If we choose your suggestion, your K9 friend wins a prize.

Seriously though, protecting your dog's eyes from flying debris and UV Rays causing Pannus disease (especially in High Altitude Colorado), is important.

Be it's FRIEND FIRST! Gain it's trust and affection, and do not lose your patience.
START TODAY... But The Younger the Better-Many tasks that a puppy playfully learns in a few days would require weeks or even months of intense training for an adult dog.
CHOOSE BETTER-Genetics Matter!- To a very large degree, you get what you start with.
HOW DO YOU TRAIN? Serious Question. Simple Answer. I train the way the dog tells me it needs to be trained. I know there is no single style of training, reward or correction based, that is complete by itself.
TRAIN YOURSELF FIRST-It only takes a few minute to teach a dog what you want on a command (cue) when you show it clearly, and only a few weeks before it starts to become a habit.

The Help Autism Center

The goal with Help Autism Service Dogs program:

To provide service dogs for families with autism & special needs, at no cost to the families. To improve the quality of life for their child or adult with autism & special needs.

In September of 2022, at an event at the Briargate Shops in Colorado Springs, William and Zolla met. William is a boy with Autism who attended the event with his mother. Also present at the event was Mutt Masters K9 Academy who had in their possession at that time a 3-and-a-half-month-old German Shepherd puppy. It was love at first sight for William and the puppy that is now known as Zolla. Our cooperation with Mutt Masters started that day. Bob Warren with Mutt Masters agreed to sell the puppy to Help Autism and would provide training to her to become William’s Service Dog. We look forward to our growing relationship with Mutt Masters K9 Academy to provide Service Dogs for Autism and those with Special Needs.
