The production features JESSICA JANÈT BROCK as Patsy Cline and KIM ANGEVINE PRICE as Louise Seger, Patsy’s pen pal. This popular musical features nearly thirty classic songs from the Patsy Cline songbook.

The talented creative team includes director Dr. Robert Darrow, musical director Robert Cruz, technical director Charlie Roppolo, lighting designer Julie Edwards, stage manager Kari Kennon, costumer Susan Beal, sound designer Barry Butler, wig stylist Edward Grey, and prop master Carol Ferrara.

The show tells the true story of the country music legend's unlikely friendship with a fan through years of letter-writing, and the musical features Patsy Cline's songbook.

Performances are scheduled for September 1, 2, 8, 9 at 7:30 p.m. and September 3, 9, 10 at 2:00 p.m.

JESSICA JANÈT BROCK (Patsy Cline) was born to a musical family in Baton Rouge, where she grew up performing with her sisters. She attended North- western State University on a theatre/ choral scholarship, where she pursued her BSN. Jessica recently left bedside nursing to be a recruiter for Willis-Knighton Health System. On weekends, Jessica performs in two cover

bands: “Stilettos” and “The Caravan Band”, as well as worships with The Simple Church band. Her dreams are

made possible with the support of her husband, Jackie, and their two children, as well as a tribe of incredible friends. Jessica was introduced to musical theatre by her late father, Patrick Janèt. She

credits her mother and sisters for their musical influence in her life. Jessica grew up loving Patsy Cline and considers it a tremendous honor to play the role of Patsy in Always…Patsy Cline. She is thrilled to be opening this 102nd season for SLT and join her friends for the

third Marvelous Wonderettes show in December.

KIM ANGEVINE PRICE (Louise Seger) is returning to the SLT stage after last appearing in Drop Dead in 2017. She has been seen for many years, since the age of 17, on multiple stages in a variety of shows. Ten years ago, Kim was given the opportunity to be in a show titled Always...Patsy Cline, alongside her good friend Seva May. Hesitant at first, her friend Seva convinced her she could in fact do it. Kim is so glad she did. When this season of shows was announced, director Dr. Darrow approached her to reprise her role of Louise Seger and, of course, she said yes. “It has been a pleasure to do this show again, and working with my co-star, Jessica Brock, has been great. Kim dedicates this performance to her parents, Fred and Janice Angevine, who were her biggest

supporters - never missing a show, no matter the size of the role. “They were reunited in Heaven in April 2022. I love you and miss you everyday.” Kim also thanks her sisters Denia, Tracee, and Kelli and their spouses Russ, Reeves, and Jimmy.
