2023 NYLT @ Sabattis
July 30th-August 5th
National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an exciting, action-packed program designed to provide all 13 to 20 year old youth members of the Boy Scouts of America with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations that demand leadership of self and others. Training of our youth leadership is important in helping the youth and their units to grow. Over the years the Boy Scouts of America has refined and developed this week-long training experience. Youth from your unit are invited and highly encouraged to participate.
NYLT is open to all Scouts BSA members 13 and older as well as all Venturing Scouts and Sea Scouts. Please remember that this includes both male and female.

WCNY PBS is Seeking Candidates for its Youth Advisory Board
WCNY is looking for a small group of students from 8th grade to early college in CNY to serve on a Youth Advisory Board. This advisory board will help advise WCNY on the American Graduate Project which aims to get CNY youth interested in advanced manufacturing jobs.
Members will provide insight as to how WCNY can craft media that connects with CNY youth and will generate interest in target areas. The board will also support the project by communicating what CNY youth expects from these jobs and the integration of these new businesses into their community.
Youth Advisory Board members will be required to attend six meetings over a two-year period. Exact dates and whether these meetings will be in person or virtual are TBD. We want to hear from you and have your voices included in these stories. A summary of the project can be found here and an application for the board can be found here. For questions, please email jack.casparino@wcny.org and on instagram @wcnyconnected.
