Amateur Radio Demonstration June 26-27
Please join the Liverpool Amateur Repeater Club (LARC) at Camp Woodland for the 2021 ARRL Field Day! Field Day, sponsored by the American Radio Relay League, is the single most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June of each year, thousands of radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations. Not only is Field Day a public event, it is also practice for emergencies, an informal contest and, most of all, FUN!

All interested Scouts, non-Scouts, families, and friends are invited to observe the workings of Field Day at Camp Woodland after 2pm on Saturday 6/26 and before 2pm on Sunday 6/27. Those not familiar with amateur radio can try their hand at making a contact with someone from anywhere in the country, or Scouts can express their interest in taking the Radio merit badge, which will be offered once again in the fall.

For more information (or to sign up for the next Radio MB), please contact Matt (KD2TBS) at KD2TBS@arrl.net or (518) 519-0743.
National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an exciting, action-packed program designed to provide all 13 to 20 year old youth members of the Boy Scouts of America with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations that demand leadership of self and others. Training of our youth leadership is important in helping the youth and their units to grow. Over the years the Boy Scouts of America has refined and developed this week-long training experience. Youth from your unit are invited and highly encouraged to participate.

NYLT is open to all Scouts BSA members 13 and older as well as all Venturing Scouts and Sea Scouts. Please remember that this includes both male and female.
We are still waiting for guidance from New York State, but that isn't stopping us from planning a great summer.
Register and sign up for Merit Badges Today.
