Use our transit and parking tips to navigate Downtown stress-free this summer! For more details on all programs, visit DurangoTransit.com.
ALL-DAY AND OVERSIZED PARKING
Need to venture Downtown in your oversized vehicle and are panicked at the thought of finding two concurrent spaces? Never fear: the Transit Center is here. Perfect for visitors who need all-day or oversized vehicle parking that requires two end-to-end spaces. You are welcome at the Transit Center parking lot at 250 W. 8th Street for just $5 per space for all-day parking.
DAYTIME FREE PARKING
We promise there’s no catch: you can park for FREE this summer at metered spaces on 7th, 8th, and 9th streets between Narrow Gauge Avenue and Camino del Rio, Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm. Spread the word to your employees and friends!
AFTER HOURS FREE PARKING
Park for free at any metered space Monday through Friday AFTER 6 pm, and all day on weekends. You can also park for free in any City lot after 5 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. This includes three city lots on East 2nd Avenue and the Transit Center lot.
FREE TRANSIT
The City of Durango is offering FREE transit service on all city buses – including the Main Avenue Trolley – all summer long! Ride for free in June, July and August. (Excludes the DuranGO after hours bus – but see below for those super affordable rates).
AFTER HOURS $2 RIDES
Need a nighttime ride within city limits or to Three Springs? The DuranGO service is your safe and affordable choice from 5 pm to midnight seven days a week. DuranGO is perfect for responsible late-night fun, or employees who work the late shift. Search for DuranGO! on the app store to get started. FLC students ride free with a valid ID! Learn more at Durangoco.gov/1724/DuranGO-Microtransit
