President's Message
I am honored to serve as your PAPPA 2021 President. The arrival of the new year, for me, as I’m sure for you, brings anticipation for a safe return of face-to-face collaboration in both our professional and personal lives. I have always been a “glass half full” kind of person so I look forward to all the positive things that 2021 will offer. I wish many thanks to Brian Deissroth, previous PAPPA President, the entire PAPPA board, volunteers and our Executive Director, Patti Ward, for keeping our membership engaged and supported in 2020. Our board navigated uncharted waters, constantly adapted to change and ultimately embraced a new “virtual” world. We now emerge into 2021 with a new perspective and eager to continue that commitment of engagement in 2021. Here is what you can expect:
In March we are providing a new Educational Power Hour format for the weekly Coffee Talks on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. Each week, for 5 weeks, a different speaker, relevant to our industry, will discuss topics ranging from the state of our industry, social media, and technology to name a few. These sessions will educate and offer our membership engagement opportunities to ask questions and collaborate. This is an exciting new offering from PAPPA which will surely benefit both our supplier and distributor members. Find details about the NEW PAPPA Learn 'n Go sessions and register at www.mypappa.org. In April we will resume the regular Coffee Talk schedule.
The second Thursday in March & April we will continue our popular VIRTUAL PAPPA Fireside Chats at 4 p.m. where members unwind, socialize, exchange ideas, and freely speak on a variety of topics both work-related and personal. All PAPPA members are welcome. Go to www.mypappa.org to register and join the fun!

Here you will find our membership coupon book which offers many amazing discounts and deals from our supplier partners. Regularly check our calendar for information and to register for all of the events outlined in the calendar below. If you have not yet renewed your membership you can also do that on the website.

March 23 – "Three Reasons to Focus on Email Marketing and How to Build Your List" presented by Abby Koss, Director of Marketing, Advertising Specialty Institute®

March 30 – "State of the Industry" with Bob DeFord, MASI, Senior Vice President, Distributor Sales & Marketing, Advertising Specialty Institute®
Bob will share the latest ASI research and distributor sales surveys, along with breaking news impacting the global promotional products industry and recent product and market trends, along with sales tips and strategies to help distributors succeed in 2021 and beyond. Registration to open soon.

How to get the link you need to access the session?
Please note that registering for the Webinars is a two-step process.
#1 Register on the PAPPA website or by responding to the emails that PAPPA sends you to verify that you are a current PAPPA member to avoid paying the $25 non-member fee.
#2 Check your inbox for the registration confirmation that says "click here to complete your registration". You must complete this step so that you receive the GO TO WEBINAR link to access the session.
