Howard County Health Department Offers Overdose Response Training

On behalf of the Howard County Health Department, we are sharing information about the upcoming overdose response training. Participants will learn how to recognize, respond and prevent an opioid overdose, including how to administer intra-nasal nalaxone, a prescription medication that reverses an opioid overdose. Participants will receive a certificate to administer nalaxone, a nalaxone kit and a prescription for nalaxone. Click on the flier image for more information or call 410-313-6202.

Last Teen Advisory Council Meeting of the School Year
HC DrugFree's Teen Advisory Council will be having its last meeting of the 2013-2014 school year on June 2 from 5:30-7:00 at The Barn in Oakland Mills Village Center. All high school age students are welcome. Community service hours available.
