Whether it be a holiday or the early morning hours, MCWD employee Antonio Munoz, System Operator II, always answers the call to serve the Districts needs. Antonio is a crucial Operations and Maintenance team member where he uses his strong work ethic, great attitude, and willingness to assist in any emergency.
Working on several large, in-house rehabilitation projects in both water distribution and wastewater collections, Antonio helped expedite each project's completion and renew the aging infrastructure.
In addition to his daily work, Antonio holds professional certifications in:
• State Water Resources Control Board - Water Treatment Operator Grade II
• State Water Resources Control Board - Water Distribution Operator Grade III
• CA Water Environmental Association - Collection System Maintenance Grade II
• American Water Works Association - Backflow Assembly Testers & Cross Connection Specialist
Antonio’s calm and cheerful demeanor makes him a pleasure to work with, and he is well-liked by all. His ongoing commitment to helping his coworkers is an asset to the organization.
